Parking Lot Guidelines
Everyone is aware that student safety is of primary importance to all members of the Holy Rosary community; however, a number of people continue to use the school parking lot for matters of convenience rather than need, resulting in subsequent danger to our students. The following provide a clear set of guidelines that we expect all parents and caregivers who drive students to follow:
- Parking lot use is restricted to those who are coming into the school to volunteer, for a meeting, signing students in or out;
- The circle in front of the school and daycare is off limits to any vehicles that are not school buses, taxis or emergency vehicles;
- The handicap spots in front of the school are for vehicles displaying the appropriate pass allowing them to park there. They are not to be used as a drop off spot;
- The parking lot is to be entered using the entrance at the top of Thorndale Dr. – closest to Rosemeadow Cr., flowing one way (down the hill), and exited via the bottom driveway – closest the daycare.
Be advised that the City of Waterloo Bylaw office has been given permission to come onto our property to ticket anyone in contravention of the posted bylaws. Your assistance in keeping everyone at Holy Rosary safe is greatly appreciated.
