Our Morning Message to Our Students Re: possible strike action

This morning, the following message was shared with our students:

Some of you may have already heard from your families or friends or from the news that there is a possibility of a strike affecting our school, beginning on Monday morning.

If there is a strike, it means that some of our school staff will not be coming to work.

We hope and pray that this will not happen – but if it does, it means our school will have to close until the strike is over, and you will not be able to come to school.

We are doing our best to make sure your families have as much information about this situation as possible. They can keep up to date by visiting the school board’s website.

If our school does have to close on Monday we hope it will only be closed for a short time and we can all be back together in our classrooms soon.
