Thank you to all staff, students and families who made our year end celebration last week such a HUGE success! An hour before the event we had one of the food trucks cancel so GINO’s PIZZA came through for us!

Special thanks to our School Advisory Council and the many volunteers who helped with planning and running the event. There are always many moving parts and we had a big crowd!

Thank you to Brett, Luke & Anna Israel from 3GEN Organics, Giordano and Dakota from Giordano Kitchen and GINO’s pizza!

Later this week we hope to release the total $ raised for oneRoof from our basket auction!

WE TEAM Silent Auction Baskets

On June 13th at our YEAR END CELEBRATION our WE TEAM will be auctioning off baskets that each class has assembled. All proceeds will be donated to oneRoof Youth Services. You can have a glance at the work they do in our community by clicking on the link below. The idea of making a donation to oneRoof originated with a student in Grade 6.

June 25th – Term 2 Report Cards go home

Project Updates:

  1. All classrooms had NEW Brightlink projectors installed on Friday; these projectors replace units that are 10 years old now and are much more energy efficient.
  2. All classrooms will have NEW flooring installed over the summer – the existing carpets are 30 years old!
  3. Playground structure on the main yard remains closed for safety reasons; the structure requires significant and costly repairs; we hope to have this work completed before this school year ends.
  4. The school roof is scheduled for replacement. We do not yet have a timeline but hope this will be completed before September 2019.
